I’m a motoring writer and blogger based in North East England, and this site is here to serve as a portfolio of my work for various media outlets.

I first started blogging in 2011 with my own blog engagesportmode.com, and went on to win the 2014 Guild of Motoring Writers’ Breakthrough Blogger Award.

As a result of that prize, I have had the incredible opportunity to work with Motoring Research since 2015, creating and contributing a wide range of motoring content.

My areas of expertise include:

• Independently investigating and writing news stories,
• Conducting and writing road tests of new and retro cars,
• Researching detailed galleries and slideshows,
• Curating and editing weekly/monthly newsletters,
• Producing content tailored for individual clients and customers.

Underpinning all this is a genuine passion for researching new information, and presenting that with enthusiasm to new audiences.
